Requirements
Valid passport with adequate validity and blank pages for stamps.
Proof of remote employment with a foreign employer or self-employed activity with foreign source income.
Demonstrable minimum income of at least ZAR650,976 per year (approx. ~US$37,000) or the government-adjusted threshold.
Proof of income (such as bank statements, payroll slips, contracts, or letters from clients).
Proof of accommodation in South Africa (rental agreement, booking, etc.).
Proof of sufficient financial means for the stay.
Police document / criminal record certificate (according to consular requirements).
Passport-style photos and completed application form.
Payment of application fees to the Department of Home Affairs or consulate.
Return ticket or proof of onward travel (in some cases).
