Nationality: not being a citizen of the EEA or EFTA.
Remote work: employment contract with a foreign company or self-employment with clients outside of Iceland.
Minimum income:
ISK 1,000,000/month (approx. €6,600/month in 2025).
ISK 1,300,000/month (approx. €8,600/month) if you apply with your spouse/partner.
Health insurance valid in Iceland.
Passport valid for at least 3 months after the period of stay.
Clean criminal record.
