Requirements
Valid passport with minimum validity (generally ≥6 months).
Proof of remote employment with a company registered in an OECD member country or of being self-employed with a business registered in the OECD.
Minimum of 6 months of work experience with said employer/activity before applying.
Demonstrable minimum income — at least 2.5× Latvia's average monthly salary (approx. €3,400–€3,900/month depending on the year).
Health insurance valid for the entire stay.
Proof of accommodation in Latvia (rental agreement or similar).
Completed application form and passport-style photos.
Documentation that supports income/remote work (contracts, bank statements, receipts).
Visa fee payment (≈€60 normal or €120 with urgent review).
Letter of motivation / justification of the reason for stay (sometimes required).
